Pemberdayaan UMKM Melalui Pengembangan Platform WebGIS Kolaboratif di Kecamatan Sukorejo, Kabupaten Kendal

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have a vital role in promoting local economic growth, yet face limitations in digital promotion and spatial-based business mapping. This community service program aims to develop a Collaborative WebGIS Platform to help MSMEs in Sukorejo District, Kendal Regency, enhance their product visibility and access wider markets through spatial digital technology. The platform was developed using the Laravel framework and integrated mapping tools such as OpenStreetMap,
Mapbox, and Leaflet.js. Core features include MSME data management, category classification, location plotting via interactive maps, and automatic report generation in PDF format. Functional testing using the black-box method yielded a 100% success rate, while usability testing with 55 respondents achieved a satisfaction rate of 87.21%. The main challenge, which was the low digital literacy among some MSME actors, was addressed through direct mentoring and the implementation of a user-friendly and locally adapted
interface. The involvement of local stakeholders throughout the process ensured that the system met user needs. This platform not only strengthens the digital capabilities of MSMEs but also provides a scalable and replicable model for community empowerment through geospatial-based digital innovation.
