Abstract

The phenomenon of bullying shows its increase every day, especially among the students. One way to prevent this negative behavior is through encouraging self-awareness among the children. This social activity aimed to increase children self-awareness to bullying through story telling method in order to respond properly when face this situation. The total of participants in this activity were 23 children,n consisted of 15 females and 8 males. The understanding of bullying concept, narrator’s ability in telling the story, and facilities during the activity were the three essential aspects that we measured after giving story telling to the participants. The result of this activity found that the participants showed their understanding about bullying. In addition, the rate of storyteller ability and the facility during this activity was significantly high.
